Accounts and Google sign-in

We use Clerk for authentication. If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides Clerk with basic profile information, including your name, email address, profile photo and Google account identifier. Daily Drive saves your Clerk account identifier, verified email address and display name to connect saved progress and paid access across devices.

Signing in can link the daily game played in your browser to your account. Account-linked progress and purchases are checked on the server against your signed-in account.

Gameplay and browser storage

A guest cookie identifies your browser for the free daily game. Browser local and session storage keep saved drive references, sound and display preferences, introductory tips and share-link attribution.

We store game and account records in Turso databases. These include submitted answers, play results, scores, timestamps, streaks and questions served. They let us restore drives, maintain records and reduce repeated questions.

Purchases

Stripe hosts checkout, where you enter payment details. We provide your account identifier and, when available, verified email address to connect the purchase to your account. We store payment and event identifiers, amount, currency and purchase or refund status to manage paid access.

Usage, comparisons and sharing

Vercel hosts the site and provides usage analytics. We measure visits, game starts and finishes, errors, share-button activity and visits from tagged share links. We also use saved daily-drive history to count first-time and returning players, including players who played yesterday. Our custom analytics events send limited game, player-category and sharing fields rather than your name, email address, account identifier or answer text.

Saved game records support aggregate comparisons with other players. When you choose to share, your selected result text, link or image is passed to the sharing service or app you choose.

Feedback

Question-set ratings, comments and suggestions are saved with game and question-set context to help improve Daily Drive. Please avoid including contact, payment or other personal details in feedback.

Saved records and questions

Game, account, purchase and feedback records are stored to support these features and operate the game. Signing out or clearing browser storage does not delete server-side records.
